An autobiography in pictures and characters of one of the world's foremost book designers, produced on the occasion of his 90th birthday, Jost Hochuli's Tipobiografia brings together the most significant projects he has created in his 60-year career. The very rich iconographic apparatus of more than 300 images is enriched by a series of texts, many of them unpublished and written especially for this occasion; among them, the autobiographical essay that gives the book its title, in which Hochuli retraces the main stages of his professional activity, describes the projects he has realized and those he has abandoned, and tells about his reference figures, masters and friends-many of whom are eminent names in the history of 20th-century Swiss graphic design.
