A choral portrait of the Italian graphic design community
ITALIAN EDITION ONLY
From the experience of the MOSTRO Festival - Graphic Design Camp Milano, "Ritratti grafici" is a volume represents a (necessarily partial) picture of the graphic designers community in Italy, and at the same time creates an exchange of ideas and comparison between different approches and languages. The discussion then focuses on the cultural and associative system around the figure of the graphic designer, on the relationship between graphic design and book publishing and on the distinctive characteristics of the art director's objectives. In the second part, ten Italian graphic studios are self-portrayed.
