An exhibition that brings Studio Yukiko's discarded projects to light, reflecting on how the market shapes creativity and the value of design The exhibition closed on June 16th, 2025

Behind every completed graphic design project lies an archive of discarded drafts. From a business card to an advertising poster, countless design paths, shelved proposals, and hours of work go into visual identities that never make the final cut. It’s a vast, silent digital graveyard of creative processes — far larger than the few ideas that make it into the real world.
REJECTED! RESURRECTED!, the exhibition by Studio Yukiko at Parco Gallery, explored this hidden side of creativity. For years, the Berlin-based studio has archived its rejected projects, declined proposals, and unrealized ideas. For the first time, these works came to light in an exhibition entirely dedicated to this “design graveyard,” making them visible to the public.
Through this project, Studio Yukiko reflected on how the market influences creativity and shaped the perceived value of design. What happens to discarded work? Who would Studio Yukiko be without client input, performance metrics, or consumer expectations? To explore these questions, the exhibition refused to generate new material — avoiding any further contribution to the pile of abandoned design work.

Studio Yukiko is a Berlin-based creative agency specializing in creative direction, art direction, brand strategy, and graphic design for both commercial and cultural clients. Their work hasreceived numerous awards and is recognized internationally, alongside their independentexplorations in visual storytelling through projects like Flaneur Magazine.
