fanfare tetatet: making it work

Details

What are the conditions, drives, and struggles of creative work across art and design? What work methods are essential to sustain (collaborative) creative practice? How do we engage, share and learn from one another? How do local, sustainable, and societal issues play a part in creative organisation and drive? Answering these questions is the aim of the fanfare conversation series tetatet. At Parco, tetatet will unfold through a sound-based presentation while diving into an informal conversation with the Parco founders, Loredana Bontempi and Emanuele Bonetti, about the surrounding creative context and working conditions.

Freja Kir (she/her) is a designer, researcher, educator, and community event maker who conducts research and creates work at the intersections of visual language, critical publishing, and digital media environments. Currently, she is finishing her PhD on “Platform Imagination” at the London School of Film, Media and Design, UWL (UK). Based in Copenhagen, she is a member of stanza, a program and studio for critical graphic design and publishing. Since 2014, Freja has also been a founding member of fanfare, an artistic research collective, design studio, and project space for critical explorations of visual communication in Amsterdam, which she will represent at Parco Gallery.
